Part 4 is not designed as a standalone PLC, electrical design or thermography course.
Instead, these subjects broaden the electrical understanding developed throughout the M2E Programme and introduce delegates to additional technologies they may encounter within an industrial maintenance environment.
The module also provides an opportunity to consolidate learning from the earlier stages of the programme before completing the final assessment.
This means delegates reach the end of the programme having progressed through a structured pathway covering electrical fundamentals, practical electrical maintenance, motors and motor control, electrical fault finding, control systems and introductory electrical technologies.

Mechanical to Electrical Training – Part 4 is the final stage of MCP's four-part programme, building on the practical electrical knowledge and fault finding skills developed throughout the previous modules.
This four-day course continues the development of delegates' electrical maintenance capability while introducing electrical design principles, PLC system basics and thermography principles.
Part 4 also includes a comprehensive review of the knowledge developed across the programme in preparation for the final examination.
Successful completion of Parts 2, 3 and 4, including passing the final examination, leads to the City & Guilds Accreditation Certificate, providing a recognised conclusion to the accredited M2E pathway.
