Mechanical to Electrical Training – Part 1 has been specifically developed for mechanical engineers who want to gain a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems. No previous electrical experience is required.
Over four practical days, you'll develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to understand electrical principles, work safely around electrical equipment and carry out a range of basic first-line electrical maintenance tasks.
Part 1 is the recommended starting point for delegates joining MCP's four-part Mechanical to Electrical Training Programme and provides the foundation for progression through the remaining modules.

Many maintenance teams include highly skilled mechanical engineers who understand their equipment, production processes and manufacturing environment in great detail. However, when an electrical fault occurs, they often have to wait for a qualified electrical colleague before work can begin.
