About Mark
Mark Everson brings decades of hands-on experience to MCP as a Senior Technical Trainer. Originally from Merthyr Tydfil, he began his career as an electrical installation apprentice before transitioning into teaching in the mid-1980s. Mark’s path took him from industrial and commercial installations, including factories, hospitals and military facilities, to Government-run Skill Centres, where he designed bespoke Mechanical‑to‑Electrical programmes for major clients. In 2017 he joined MCP and has since become one of our most in-demand and respected trainers.
At MCP, Mark is known for his practical, engaging training style and deep technical knowledge. He equips delegates with essential skills in electrical and mechanical maintenance and is often called upon to deliver sessions on safe isolation procedures and electrical duty holder responsibilities. His approach combines real-world insight with clear teaching and a sense of fun, as seen in the recent motor-building session at the MCP Meeting of Minds.
