Jon is a skilled and experienced Senior Technical Trainer with over 20 years in engineering, spanning mechanical, electrical and automation disciplines. With a hands-on background in toolmaking, machining, and systems troubleshooting, Jon brings a practical and insightful approach to technical training. He is passionate about helping engineers and technicians build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in fast-paced industrial environments.
Beginning his career as a toolmaker, Jon developed a deep understanding of precision engineering through CAD, CNC and press tool design. His career has since evolved to include multi-skilled maintenance, fault finding and training delivery across a wide range of systems and technologies.
At MCP, Jon designs and delivers tailored training in areas such as PLCs, robotics, fluid power and mechanical maintenance. His sessions are known for being practical, industry-focused and immediately applicable.
