Colin Wright is a highly qualified and experienced Senior Technical Trainer with extensive expertise in electrical and mechanical systems training, competency assessment, and health & safety compliance. With qualifications including HNC Engineering, OND Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering, and City and Guilds 2391 & 2392, Colin brings a comprehensive technical foundation to his role at MCP.
Colin's career spans multiple disciplines, from leading technical training programmes aligned with national standards (NVQ, C&G, EAL) to conducting asset condition surveys and developing competency-based assessment frameworks. His experience includes training electrical technicians at major organisations such as BAA Heathrow, designing bespoke health and safety training programmes, and managing large-scale apprenticeship and technician training initiatives.
