About Mechanical Maintenance Skills - Part 2

City & Guilds Accredited

Our Mechanical Maintenance Skills Part 2 course enables delegates to build on skills gained in Part 1 and feel confident to build upon their ability to diagnose and fix routine mechanical faults.  This will enable the participants to carry out specific mechanical tasks back in the workplace with some initial ‘on-job’ support. The theory is followed by a demonstration of the task on a rig. Candidates will then practice the task before having a one to one, practical assessment. Underpinning knowledge is assessed by a written paper. Successful completion of the practical and written assessments results in the award of a City & Guilds Accreditation Certificate in Mechanical Maintenance Skills.

The Mechanical Maintenance Skills Programme is also available as an on-site, cost-effective alternative to our regular public training courses held at our training centre in Reading.
