About John

John is a keen cyclist and likes to put this healthy hobby to good use! As part of the North Road Cycling Club, John has turned their official club run into a charitable one. This Saturday, 1st October 2022 the club will be cycling 100km around the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire countryside to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, which John has had personal experience with for a family member.

Alzheimer’s Society

By 2025, 1 million people will be living with the condition in the UK, and many millions more carers, partners, families and friends are affected.

Lack of treatments and care means that people with dementia and their families aren’t getting the support they need, when they need it.

We will not rest until people with dementia and their carers live more fulfilled and less fearful lives, free from stigma and inequality.

The supporters ensure that people living with dementia today have the support they deserve, that their rights are protected and enhanced by campaigning, and that they can look to a brighter future thanks to investment in research much of which is funded by donations to the cause.

Get Involved

If you fancy a quick ride out this Saturday then why not join John. You can find out how by clicking here. If cycling isn’t your thing then a sponsorship would work wonders instead! You can follow the Just Giving page link here.

Thank you for your support
